Album info:
“Oblivion” is a conceptual album that follows a path from the prelude to the final track, creating a cohesive journey from start to finish.
The compositions on the album “Oblivion” were extrapolated from intense live improvisations using two electric guitars with pedal effects.
These improvisations were recorded at Gosi Studio during two separate sessions by Marco Pieri and Giovanni Gosi.
Afterwards, the songs underwent arrangement and composition work at Marco P.’s Enterprise studio.
The primary artistic intention behind these compositions is to utilize guitars exclusively to create all sounds, environments, and textural elements, without relying on synthesizers or keyboards.
This approach emphasizes the versatility and expressive potential of the electric guitar in crafting a diverse sonic landscape.
