Album info:

The analog machines featured on this record are all vintage, “self-made” (DIY), or low-level electronics designed to produce classic, vintage sounds. In November 2006, we recorded an entirely improvised session using only these machines at Elettrostudio in Cremona.

The session’s sound revolves around the unique “do-it-yourself” analog synthesizers, the VCSG3 and ELETTROMICROSYNTH, both one-of-a-kind creations. These instruments were built by Gianpietro Grossi between 1973 and 1976. In 2016, these improvisations were subsequently arranged at Enterprise Studio, incorporating guitar, effects, bass, and drums.

The music is structured as a single composition, divided into nine sequential fragments, with the distinctive sound of the VCSG3 providing a signature element throughout the entire “suite.”
